Hey! Glad you’re here. I’ve got this cute teddy bear coat outfit to share with you! The “teddy bear” is big this winter season. I keep seeing super cute teddy bear vests around, love them! I have a pink faux fur (teddy bear like) coat outfit of the day I shared not too long ago that is a different spin on a similar look- you can check that out here.
When you think of teddy bears, what comes to mind? Maybe it is comfort in scary situations, or a warm fuzzy feeling that makes you happy. Whatever it is, I think it is safe to say we all had a favorite teddy (or other favorite stuffed animal) growing up. It probably brings back fond childhood memories, too. Well, owning a teddy bear coat (or other teddy bear clothing item) will spark joy in you when you wear it! Trust me on this one. I got this long teddy bear coat from Boohoo. Does it not look like the most comfortable thing ever?
Beneath it I’m wearing a light grey Zaful turtleneck sweater. It has this cute knit texture on it which I love- it reminds me of the turtlenecks that are a chunky. Something to note about this outfit, is the mixture of warm and cool tones. The coat is a warm brown color, and the sweater is a cooler color so to really solidify this outfit I added a gray beanie from H&M (plus beanies are awesome at keeping the heat in), and black Public Desire sock boots.
Wearing regular denim jeans (these are Fashionnova high waist skinny jeans) balances out the contrasting warm/cool tones. There is some magic about a good pair of denim pants that make fashion’s color combination door open up. Note that these jeans are tucked into the top of the boots. If you are tucking your jeans into skinny boots like this be sure either your boot is big enough for it to fit or your pant legs are skinny enough otherwise you’ll end up with a lumpy look around your ankles.
What do you think about the teddy bear coat? Would you wear one/ do you have one?
