It’s nothing new that we women (not all of us, but a good amount!) love to spend money with expensive designer bags. They are cute, high quality and some people love to collect them.
That doesn’t mean you can’t have a more “affordable” bag to use on a daily basis. There are so many different styles out there that you could buy and not spend $2000 for it.
So, thinking of that, I decided to create this post with a few “dupes” and cheap bags that you could buy instead of going for the more expensive ones. My objective here is to help you save money by buying cheap bags that look good!
I’m obsessed with designer bags and I think we all should have at least one in our closets, especially if you’re into fashion. That’s okay if you want to invest in something more “expensive,” we all deserve a little treat sometimes.
Now, if you don’t care AT ALL about designer bags and all you want is to buy a functional and cute bag that you can take anywhere, you are in the right place!
The first thing you need in a bag is space. That’s crucial for a daily-basis use, especially if you’re the type of person that loves caring around more than your wallet and phone.
Another thing you should check before buying a bag is the material. I know there are a lot of vegan people out there that don’t like to buy real leather, but I will tell you, they are the ones that last almost FOREVER.
The other thing I think you should check before buying a bag is the style. You need to make sure you will be able to use it on many different occasions, otherwise, it will be a waste. Versatility is key!
Here you can instantly see a BIG difference in price between the Louis Vuitton bag and Asos bag.
They are both pretty similar in shape, with golden details and black shiny leather. The material may be different, Louis Vuitton usually uses authentic leather, but besides that, they look a lot alike.
If you don’t want to spend $3500 on a bag, you can get something similar for much less.
Also, the bag from Asos has a really cute details which I think looks nice- the leopard bandana. You can see how much it adds to the bag, a simple detail can change everything.
Some people may say that the cheaper bag is cuter. (I will have to agree!)
Oh Boy. Chanel is actually one of my favorite Designer Bags, I’ve wanted one for so long but it’s too expensive. I have to save up for a while until I have the money to afford it.
Now, if you don’t have the patience to save up the money to buy it later, or you don’t have the money at all, here is a dupe that I found at Forever 21 that looks similar to the designer bag and it’s super cheap.
It may not look the same, but it still has some similarities and it’s cute to use with different outfits.

Like I’ve said in the beginning, I’m a big fan of buying those expensive bags, but sometimes investing in something cheaper is not bad. I’ve done that so many times, I now have a collection of bags from all over.
It’s always good to take a look around and check what’s going on. Sometimes you may find a super cute bag at Forever 21 for only $10. That happened to me before and I bought it!
